Valencia Airport is also called Manises Airport (after the nearby town). It is situated 10km to the west of the city centre and can be reached via the N220 which connects to the main A3 motorway and N335. It runs parallel to the Autovia A3 highway which goes to Madrid and nearby is the Autovia -7 coast route to Barcelona
For the America’s Cup sailing competition in March 2007 a new terminal was opened for regional traffic. It connects with the main terminal where in July 2012 a second extension opened on the eastern side with twenty more check-in desks and a new baggage reclaim hall. T1 is spread over 3 floors and T2 has five floors.
There are 4 air bridges from the aircraft into the terminal. It is a long walk before you leave the airport so if you need help make sure you tell your airline in advance
